- know the two types of recruiters agency recruiters work with many companies while corporate recruiters work in house for just one
- build a list of around ten agency recruiters you like and check in with them monthly instead of waiting on just one
- use the two and two rule when picking a recruiter to trust look for at least two years in the industry and two years at their current company
- find recruiters by searching technical recruiter on linkedin filtered by your city then dm them directly
- text or email recruiters instead of calling since most recruiters are on back to back calls all day and rarely pick up
