- stop mass applying to job posts and instead message recruiters directly on linkedin to build real connections
- search tech recruiters plus your city on linkedin and use the filters feature to narrow results
- look for recruiters with at least two years in the industry and two years at their current company
- when a recruiter cant help you directly ask for a quick favor like resume or linkedin feedback
- if you find a job posting message a recruiter you know and ask if they can refer you or know someone there
