from college student to speaking at conferences w/ dev agrawal dev advocate
guest: dev agrawal, dev advocate
- look for student organizations and university funding to get to conferences you otherwise could not afford
- volunteering at conferences gets you access to speaker dinners and parties that regular attendees never see
- post your projects publicly and tell people about them instead of just building quietly in the shadows
- submitting a conference talk proposal before the talk is finished can be treated as a chance to learn the topic
- reach out directly when a company shows a product demo you are genuinely excited about, it can lead to a job
