- wait about 24 to 48 hours before following up with a recruiter and 48 to 72 hours before following up with a hiring manager
- always work through your recruiter instead of dming the hiring manager directly or you risk getting rejected on the spot
- email or text for follow ups since those get seen faster than dms or phone calls
- never bash a previous employer in an interview since getting defensive about feedback can get you rejected on the spot
