- before dming someone, comment on and engage with their posts for a while so you are not a stranger
- when you do dm, reference something specific the person did or posted instead of just saying hi or whats up
- use the jab jab jab right hook approach, give value through comments and likes before you ask for anything
- when someone changes their job status on linkedin, comment and dm them asking how they found that job to start a conversation
- dont open a recruiting or sales dm with claims about being different or promising huge results, just be yourself and stay low key
